Hiatus

After a (short) break from blogging, I might stat using this site again – for comments on my new Projects page

Arduino Basics

To run the RepRap Mendel, firmware is loaded onto an Arduino controller board.

I have started assembling a very Basic Introduction to Arduino compendium. The compendium is taking shape on a wiki.

It takes its basic inspiration from the www.oomlout.co.uk – Arduino Introduction kit

And the Arduino Programming Notebook

Both sources which are open source, and free to download and use.

Making a 3D printer

Over the past months I have been building myself a 3D printer.  You can read about it here:  another-mendel-reprap.blogspot.com

I am building  it in the new hackerspace in Copenhagen: Labitat.dk

Computers and Electronics

Before using these new web site tools, I hand crafted every page.

And those pages still exist here:

Direct links to some of the English pages about electronics:

I plan to some day move or copy those and other pages into the wiki, but we’ll see if that ever happens.

WordPress Themes

Having the basic web tools up and running, it’s now time to find themes of apperance that I like. So far I have looked at about ten different ones that all have their advantages, but I’m still looking to find the one.

Until I find the one, or I learn how to adjust detailed settings, I think I’ll just keep changing themes 🙂

Hello world!

Hello World!  This is the first post on my new hacks blog.

I like to make things!  Today I made myself a wiki and a blog (this blog).

Here are the details for setting up a wiki. And details for installing and start using WordPress

Modding – in the past

Before blogging became popular, and easy tools were available, I still made web pages.

Here is a link to one of my PC-modding pages, from 2003.

Historical activities

Before blogging became popular, and easy tools were available, I still made web pages.

Here is a link to one of my danish pages about Tourette, from 1998.
